Movements such as the wave can be defeated in many ways. Like learning about it so history doesn’t repeat itself. Some good things to learn about are How the Germans treated the Jews, Learning about how the Jews lived in Ghettos and then were sent off to concentration camps or straight to death camps. Another way is to know that everyone is responsible for their own actions. Know that being responsible for your actions is important to know because even if everyone is doing something you shouldn’t because you would be responsible for the same thing. There is one more way I can think of that movement such as the wave can be defeated by not wanting a horrible thing like the holocaust to happen again. I hope that History doesn’t repeat itself.
What does this experiment say about the causes of the Holocaust? I would say that it says that people were brainwashed and when they were brainwashed good people did bad things. I bet that some people didn’t even realize that it was as bad as it was. Laurie and David remembered me of some of the people that were going along with what everyone was saying when the holocaust was happening but, they didn’t like the idea in the end. This experiment says many other things about the causes of the holocaust can you think of some.
What does this film say about authority and power? One of the things it says is if decision making was taken away and when powers are abused there are many things that can happen like people can do horrible things. One thing that I think it says is that when there are two groups the bigger more powerful one takes the lead. When Laurie and David were trying to stop the wave but, no one would listen and The Wave toke over that’s why I think that the bigger more powerful group takes over. I wish that people didn’t just listen to the more powerful group because they are offering more than the other. What do you think the film says about power and authority?
